HAPPY WEEKEND!

This morning I sat down at my desk to start in on some work and I saw this. And honestly, I have no idea if it was the man or the boy, but someone has a sense of humor in this house. This weekend is going to be filled to the brim with fun. We had a dinner tonight with some new friends that we are just getting to know. Earlier today, Elliott (while he was supposed to be taking a rest) snuck out of his room and into the kitchen and ate seven of the dozen donuts Preston bought this morning. Seven! So back to dinner. Elliott got sick, all over these poor people's kitchen. All over me, and well, you get the idea. No more donuts for that boy. Not till he's old enough to clean up his own sick anyway. Tomorrow we have a lot of fun family fun planned including my nephews birthday party for which he requested a piñata of jupiter. So you know I had to make one! More on that next week. We have a few other things in the works, but basically, it is another fun packed weekend. Hope yours is equally as fun! Till Monday!

HAPPY WEEKEND!

Signing off a wee bit early this week. We are so excited for this weekend. We're taking a little road trip to visit some friends for memorial day. A mini vacation is much needed! I hope you all have as much fun as we are bound to have. It's a new city to us, actually a whole new state! So we're pretty stoked about exploring a little and just hanging out with these crazy people. See you on Tuesday! Until then, have a fantastic long weekend.

HAPPY WEEKEND!

Speaking of happy, these straws sure make me happy. The colors are of course, amazing. But the straws themselves are great. I'm a bit of a straw snob and that is 100% my mom's doing. If it weren't for her I would probably drink a triple thick milkshake from one of those ridiculously tiny straws you get for hot beverages. So mom, thank you. But anyway. This weekend we have a long "to do" list. But we also have dinner with friends and some amazing weather to enjoy. I swear I never talked about the weather so much when I lived in Florida. The snow has made me bitter and wimpy when it comes to the weather. I have quite a few DIYs up my sleeve for some upcoming holidays and just because. So I will be working on those quite a bit this weekend. Now, we're off to drink a triple thick milkshake with one of these glorious straws. Happy weekend!

HAPPY WEEKEND!

This weekend is another doozy and with both Elliott and I being sick, it should be interesting! I'll be at the SLC Pop-Up Shop all day tomorrow, so if you're in the area, pop by and say hello! I have no idea what Preston and Elliott will be up to while I am "working" but I am sure it will be good boy fun and I am sure Elliott's new "fan-some" boots will be involved. On a more serious note, we have been glued to the TV and our computers watching for updates on the tragedies happening in Boston and Texas. Over the past few days we have gasped from shock and cried for the victims and families involved in these horrible events. But our hearts have also been filled with a sense of unity with the people in Boston and in Texas, even though we are across the country. The way these people have helped one another and loved complete strangers is heart warming. We cannot imagine what they have been going through and we will continue to think of them and pray for them. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe weekend.

HAPPY (EARLY) WEEKEND!

I'm signing off a litt early this week. I will be a vendor at Bijou Market - a handmade market that is awesome and will rock your socks off - and need all the time I can get to prepare! I am elbow deep in cement! Ok, maybe just wrist deep. But you get the idea. And for some reason I felt compelled to make all new price tags and watercolor them no less. I might be losing it. But I love the way everything is turning out! If you are in the Utah area, stop by and check it out! I'd love to see you! Besides Bijou, we will be spending the weekend with some friends we just don't see often enough for only living 40 minutes away. I am hoping we will squeeze in some time for a visit to the museum of art and my favorite restaurant. We shall see! Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
