WAITING FOR CHRISTMAS

Elliott is so excited for Christmas. You can't tell from these pictures, but he is. Every day he looks out the window and asks "is it Christmas morning yet?" I can't wait to tell him "yes, yes it is!" The other day, he was sitting in "daddy's chair" and stated that he was going to sit there until Christmas came. My heart melted. Of course, he got impatient and squirmy and eventually forgot about his protest and went about his day. But I thought it was worth documenting. 

WE LOVE: MINI KICK

It's been a long time coming, but finally here is the post about Elliott's beloved scooter. We got him a mini kick scooter over a year ago, but up until recently he hasn't really had anywhere to ride it. Not that that ever stopped him from riding around the apartment, running into walls. We love it because it's compact (you can take the handle bars off for easy storage!) and it's totally transportable. He loves it because it makes his "legs go super fast!" It's kinda perfect for us. 
 After a ride, he likes to top it off with a bowl of greek yogurt and raspberries (yum!)

WISH LISTED - ELLIOTT EDITION

We are in full swing getting settled and unpacked in our new place. We have a lot more space in this apartment, and I am very excited to start decorating! Elliott's room is first on my list. Here are my wish listed items for his new (huge) room. I am over the moon in love with the rug. I'm wondering if I could DIY it? The orange crate would be an addition to his current blue, red and yellow ones. They are perfect for storing all of his toys, books and even his clothes. His favorite color is orange (obviously) so I really want to incorporate some of that in his room. I can't wait to get started! I think he'll love it.

Logging off a bit early this week. Yesterday we decided to put a few of our little pumpkins to good use and paint them. Would you look at this little man's concentration face? He insisted his pumpkin must be painted orange (stubborn kiddo) but I finally convinced him to add a few other colors to it. In the end, he washed it off so he could paint it all over again. Smart boy! We're in for a treat of a weekend including a lot of down time and some fall activities. It gets cold quickly around these parts, so all fall festivities must be accomplished and photographed before the middle of October. I'll also be getting ready for CRAFT! Are you coming? HAPPY WEEKEND

I made some bubbles yesterday and spent the afternoon laying out on the grass with my little man. It was perfect. I can feel the cooler fall weather coming so we're trying to squeeze in as much outdoor time as possible. I'm hoping this weekend will be chock-full of the outdoor time!
