WE LOVE: WOODEN NATIVITY BLOCKS

We have never had a nativity set of our own so I thought it was about time. I wanted one that was kid friendly, but not hideous and not too kid-ish. After scouring the internet, I found the perfect set for us!  This wooden nativity set is simple, modern and super durable. Oh, and it's totally affordable! We love it. Elliott loves getting down under the tree and reciting the story "Once upon a time..there was Mary. And they went to the city..." Also, he can build his own "barn". Doesn't get much better than that! And yes, we have some presents under the tree. These are our "tester" gifts. I wrapped a few of Elliott's gifts that if he did get into them, he wouldn't be able to tell what they were and wouldn't be able to open the boxes. So far, it's working great! He hasn't touched them. Besides putting them under the tree himself, like a "big boy". 

WE LOVE: CAVALCADE

A few weeks ago at Bijou Market, my friends Nicole and Justin blew my mind when I walked by to check out their booth. These beautiful custom powder coated utensils had to be mine. And so they are! I love their simplicity and the pops of color. The spoons are perfect for parties with dips. Right? My goal is to get every color! I also love the serving utensils. Which I so sillily did not take pictures of. I went with the mint color and I am so glad I did. They are perfection! The ladle is perfect for my punch bowl, and the other utensils are ideal for big family dinners (hello, Christmas!) And the little measuring spoons are just adorable. I've seen similar products before, but never for such an incredible price and with such a variety! Do yourself a favor and check out all of this colorful powder coated goodness here.

WE LOVE: MINI KICK

It's been a long time coming, but finally here is the post about Elliott's beloved scooter. We got him a mini kick scooter over a year ago, but up until recently he hasn't really had anywhere to ride it. Not that that ever stopped him from riding around the apartment, running into walls. We love it because it's compact (you can take the handle bars off for easy storage!) and it's totally transportable. He loves it because it makes his "legs go super fast!" It's kinda perfect for us. 
 After a ride, he likes to top it off with a bowl of greek yogurt and raspberries (yum!)

WE LOVE: BLABLA PILLOWS

Elliott's other half birthday gift was this adorable and super comfy blabla pillow. His first reaction when he opened it was to stick his arms through the little holes and hug it tight. Cuteness overload! Once we move into our new apartment, and get him a new bed, this little buddy will sit right on top. He loves it and insists on sleeping with it every night now. I don't mind!
