DIY HANDLED BUTTER DISH

I think we all have some pent up frustration against all of the handle-less butter dishes in the world. Don't we? Why do they even make them? I'll never know. But, I have a solution. Add your own handle! Using a decorative knob from your local craft or hardware store, you can have a frustration-less + pretty butter dish in no time. Check out the details over on Momtastic. If you make your own, I would love to see it!

MINI PIÑATAS + HAPPY WEEKEND

I made these mini piñatas for a little cinco de mayo party we had this morning for some local kiddos. I won't give step by step instructions, but if you are interested you can see pretty much the same thing here. I made some minor changes through trial and error, but it's close enough. I used water balloons to get them as mini as I could. After I covered them with paper mache, I rigged up a way to hang them up so they could dry fully. I have to say, I was pretty proud of myself for that :) I filled them with some small toys and candy and the kids seemed to really like them. They took far too long to make, but it was fun and a great excuse to get caught up on some shows.

Do you have any fun plans for cinco de mayo? We'll have some yummy mexican food, and hopefully a few siestas! Have a fantastic weekend, friends!

STYLED.

Remember when I said I had some big news coming up? Well, I can finally share it! I have a tutorial in the latest issue of Styled. magazine! I made some flower party poppers and...I don't mean to brag, but I seriously love them. Preston was gracious enough to be my model..looking all dapper per usual. You should hop on over and check out the tutorial and the rest of Styled. magazine. It's always a stunningly beautiful magazine and this issue is no exception. Thank you, Styled! It was a blast and an honor.
P.S. Just a little tid bit of info, Preston is wearing the same suit and tie from our wedding! Aww.
