DIY KID'S RECYCLING BIN

Elliott learned about recycling from one of his cartoons (thank you, PBS!) and since Earth day is coming up, I thought it would be fun and frankly adorable to make his own recycling bin. He loves it! He's learning what can go in the bin and what needs to go in the trash. Though he still has a problem with thinking the small space next to the fridge is a free-for-all trash flinging ground. Oy. We made this bin using a box, duct tape and washi tape and it's kind of perfect for us. He wanted me to spell out "Elliott Loves Recycling" but you know. This is better, right?
