DIY BUSINESS CARDS!

I have been needing new business cards for a while and finally got around to making new ones. I had some custom stamps made, bought an ink pad, grabbed my watercolor paper and paints and went to work! I love that they are clean, handmade and of course, have splashes of color. And it's pretty rad that with the stamps I can make pretty much anything a business card, and I have the choice to change my "cards" as often as I like. New ink color, new paper color, paper shape, etc. I think business cards should be a reflection of the individual and what they do/love and I think my new cards do just that!

P.S. For anyone who is interested, I designed the stamps myself and uploaded them to this site to have them made.

ARDOR SHOP

Over this past year that Ardor has been in existence, I have received a lot of emails etc. asking why my blog was called Ardor and my shop was called Vintage Oddity. Apparently it confuses a lot of people. Sorry! I started the shop a few years ago, and though I love the name, I have officially switched my shop name to Ardor. Just wanted to let you guys know :) Thanks so much for all the love!

Another common question I get is "Is your blog called Ardor Blog? or Ardor?" It's Ardor. The web address is ardorblog.com because ardor.com was taken. Sorry to confuse friends!

New to the Shop - Gold Dipped Triangle Earrings

I just made a TON of these for Alt Summit. So if you're going to Alt, try and get a goodie bag with these pretty ladies in them! If you're not going to Alt, they are now in the shop too and there are more color combos (excited!) coming soon!

P.S. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be attending Alt this year. Just couldn't swing it...so I am sending my earrings instead :)

new to the shop!

I've been working on the new line for the shop and am finally making some progress! These barrettes have been in the making for a while (isn't that the way it always goes?) but I am thrilled with the outcome. I really do love them. Mostly because they are so cute, but also because the actual barrettes have 3 size settings so they work for pretty much any hair type, thin and thick alike! More color combos/patterns coming soon!
