SPACE PARTY INVITES

Space Party Invites

Elliott decided he wanted a space birthday party this year so space it is! I am so relieved that my kid doesn't want a cartoon character themed party. Call me a bad parent, but I am pretty sure I would refuse if he asked for that. I found some moon stress balls for super cheap and thought they would be the perfect fun element to send to our friends to get them excited for the party. They are a little darker than I would expect the moon to be. They kind of look more like meteors. Right? Either way, they work! I made a quick and simple invite to attach to them and sent them on their way. I blocked out the address information for this post for kind of obvious reasons. I hope our friends love them as much as we do!

KISS VALENTINE TATTOOS

I can't tell you how much I love these little kiss tattoos. As if I could say no to any temporary tattoo, but aren't these fun? We aren't throwing any kind of Valentine's day party this year, but wouldn't these temporary tattoos be perfect for one? Or give them out to little friends along with a note for an easy Valentine. They come in two sizes - both of which are great for little faces. You can download both sizes here. As with all of these homemade tattoos, you will need special tattoo paper, print it out, follow the directions that came with your paper and be sure to cut out your designs. We have been having a lot of fun sticking these on each other, and I am pretty sure you will too!

Again, you can download the tattoos right here. Enjoy!

COLORING CHORE CHART

With the new year, we thought it was the perfect time to help Elliott out with some of his resolutions. This chore chart has been a huge help so far! It's more fun for him to clean up his toys or brush his teeth when he knows he gets to color the object to cross it off his list. And if they aren't feeling like coloring, a simple X or a scribble will suffice. You can download this chore chart here, or make your own! Either way you'll be happy about their new habits and they will have fun while getting stuff done!

DINO-MITE VALENTINES

We found these rad dinosaur fossils a little while back and I thought they would be perfect for giving to Elliott's classmates at preschool for Valentine's day. It's a nice change from the endless candies and cakes they are sure to consume. I promise the kids will have a roaring good time with them (too much?) And if you love this idea, but still want to include something sweet, the rocks are actually chocolate! And believe it or not, they don't taste half bad. Don't they look totally real? We bought an extra set of dinos to keep for ourselves, because really. How could we not? To make these valentines, just download the tags here, cut them out, put a little tape on the back and stick them on. I used card-stock to give my tags a little more sturdiness. So easy, and guaranteed to be a hit with the kids.
