I have loved The Little Prince for years and have anticipated the day when I could share it with Elliott. It's kind of one of those kids books that's really an adult book...if that makes any sense. This pop-up version of the classic is perfect for us! Even though I have 3 copies of this book already (Two in English and one in Spanish) I think we'll have to add this one to our collection.

DIY shadow puppet party

I've always thought it would be tough to have a birthday so close to Halloween or any other holiday for that matter. But leave it to Merrilee to make a her kiddo's just before Halloween birthday party awesome! Mix and match the body parts to create your own shadow puppet monster. Genius! It's the perfect Halloween-y party and it looks like the kids had an absolute blast.
