We officially moved into our new apartment. All of our things have been here since last week, but we weren't sleeping here until this weekend. It feels great to have our own place again! Even though we both are feeling under the weather, we have been cleaning and unpacking to make this apartment our own as soon as possible. It's a very old house (built in 1885!) and I am in love with all of the character that comes with it. The floors are extra squeaky and the claw foot tub! That might be my favorite thing about the place. I'm excited to get it all in order and do a little photo tour! Don't hold your breath though, it could be a long time coming. A glimpse into this weekend: A Halloween party where my man became Clark Kent. My sister had a birthday so of course a wall-o-brooke was in order. Elliott was finally reunited with all of his toys we have had in storage. The reason? WE MOVED INTO OUR APARTMENT! Also, my favorite knob in our new place. More details coming soon! What a weekend. Here are a few the of many, many pictures taken over the last few days. It was a weekend packed full of fun and festivities. We went to a rad party and met up with some awesome people from around the blog-o-sphere and celebrated the launch of a fantastic book (more coming soon!) We went to dinner with friends, carved some pumpkins, and hit up a carnival full of halloween and fall games and rides for kiddos. A busy weekend to match a very busy upcoming week! We will (fingers crossed) be moving into our new place this week, so you can expect a little bit of posting silence. It's ok if I tell you in advance, right? Hope your week is off to a great start!

Sorry about the late post. But I have to excuse myself since we have been APARTMENT HUNTING. I think we have found the perfect apartment for us and I am over the moon excited about it. More to come on that section of our lives soon. In other news, we went rock hunting this weekend to make more of these. And we used a ding dong box to collect them. Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. We spent the better part of our weekend getting into the halloween spirit with these kids. Which means Elliott was a very happy boy. The weather has been gorgeous lately. The crisp fall air is so refreshing. We're excited to keep up the fall and halloween festivities over the next few weeks.
