DUCT TAPE SKELETON COSTUME

IMG_2557.jpg

A few months ago Elliott decided he wanted to be a skeleton. So I started planning out the costume and came up with this! Of course, in true four year old fashion, he has since changed his mind but I loved this idea so much I just had to share it with you. All you need is some black clothes and a roll of white duct tape. You could get fancy and cut the strips of tape to look more like bones, but I love this simple clean look. As you can tell from the pictures, Elliott thinks he looks pretty good too. This is the perfect last minute costume for the kids or even for yourself. I think it would be fun to try it with some glow in the dark duct tape too. Wouldn't that look rad walking around the neighborhood on Halloween?

JACK O LANTERN CUPS

Isn't this little guy the cutest? Preston found these little half-pint mason jars at the store and I knew I could put them to good use. I think it would be adorable to make a ghost one too. Maybe don't even paint it, just fill it with milk and add the black for the eyes and mouth! Love it. You can see the full tutorial on how to make the jack o lantern cups over here on Momtastic.

HALLOWEEN RIBBON TREAT BAGS

These bags are perfect for any Halloween gathering you might have this year. Fill them with candy or caramel corn for an easy party favor for your guests. Or stick them on to a boring sack lunch to make it a little more festive! You can download the stickers here, print them off onto sticker paper, and stick them on! Easy, right? You may recognize three of these little guys, but there's a new addition! I had to make a witch hat. It just needed to be done. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Again, you can download them here. Enjoy!

SPOOKTACULAR TATTOOS

As promised, here is the first peek into my newly acquired (still acquiring) mad illustrator skills. Aren't these fun? We have been using them like crazy! I think we just might hand these out instead of candy (who am I kidding...along with candy) for Halloween this year. Kids will love them! If you want some of your own - how could you not - just download them here, print them out on temporary tattoo paper and follow your paper's directions. For mine it says to print it out, apply the film, cut, peel and press on with a damp cloth for 20 seconds. But again, just follow your directions. The download includes four of each Halloween character (black cat, ghost and jack-o-lantern). We hope you love them as much as we do!

Blowing is optional. My favorite is the ghost, but that jack-o-lantern on a little boy bicep is pretty adorable too. Again, you can download the spooktacular tattoos here. While we want you to enjoy the heck out of these, they are for personal use only. Thanks!
