PUZZLE BLOCKS DIY

This is a fun project to work on with your littles. I asked Elliott what he would like me to paint on the blocks and did my best and according to him I did "a great job!" These are really fun for me too because I love the colors and don't mind having them out in plain sight. Unlike many, many other toys. Moms, you feel me. WE LOVE: SHORT SHORTS

We recently bought some all purpose shorts for Elliott - at least we think they are all purpose. They are his shorts for soccer, swimming, and general running around in. To me they are the perfect length, short - but not too short. He has a few pairs of swim shorts that we love, but they can ride up and look more like a speedo after a bit of running around. The best part? They are on sale! I mean, seriously on sale. So I thought I should mention it to you in case any of you are looking for some perfect shorts for your littles. They come in a couple of great colors. We just bought the gray ones with the sale, I can't wait to get them! Now, we're off to the pool with the shorts. We really do love them.

AROUND HERE

This weekend's post bleeds into the 4th of July - you forgive me, right? The last few days we spent making plans and then not following through with them, listening to rainstorms and going to the movies. We actually went to the movies three times this past week! It was great. It's not very often that there are movies we actually want to shell out money for. Earlier today we went to a little road rally where there were races and music and food. What else do you need? Elliott was thrilled to race and receive a few medals - even though he unknowingly cheated. This week is off to a great start! 

P.S. In case you are wondering we saw these three movies. And loved them all. 

HAPPY WEEKEND!

I hope you all had a great 4th of July yesterday! We loved everything about the day. Sparklers, fireworks, great food and lots of fun. Elliott got to spend the day with his cousins and a giant slip n' slide on a hill so of course he was in heaven. This weekend we are planning to go on a few family outings which will most likely involve playing outside and food. Have a great weekend and we'll see you back here next week!
