HAPPY WEEKEND!

Well, now that the weekend is half over...happy weekend! We've been having a great time relaxing and spending time together and with a few friends. Oh and bubbles. Lots and lots of bubbles. I need to buy one of those gallon sized bucket-o-bubbles and just let the kid go wild on the back porch. He could spend the whole day out there! And I am a-ok with that. Hello, weekend! We're so happy you are here. We are pretty excited for the egg hunts, Easter baskets, and great food over the next few days. And this weather! Perfect. We walked up to our new favorite gelato place tonight. I had rosemary olive oil and surprisingly, after taste testing pretty much every flavor it was the winner! So, so good. Our backyard is looking pretty tempting too. I can't wait to get some lawn chairs and a grill so we can take full advantage. We might have to do that this weekend if we can fit it in! He's such a ham. He thought he would relax in the tub and have a chat with me about the nice sunny day we were having. So of course I snapped a picture. We are in for a treat this weekend. Elliott's cousins are sleeping over all weekend and we are pretty excited about it! On the agenda: build a fort, play outside, watch a movie, eat great food, dance, repeat. It's going to be a blast. Though going from having one kid to having three can be pretty overwhelming, it's a good overwhelming. You know? The weather has been in-credible too. We might even get some sun on this paleness we call skin. Happy weekend!

So I know you just saw these a few days ago, but the shadow they make were too cool not to share. At last, the weekend is here! With the warmer weather and lack of snow on the ground I think we will have to venture out and find us a park and probably take a walk or two. And tonight we are going to one of my favorite restaurants for a belated birthday dinner. So yeah. It's looking like a great weekend for us! This has been a long week. We welcome the weekend with open arms! Tonight we are going on a little family outing and hopefully giving Elliott a hair cut. It's kind of out of control. The rest of the weekend is going to be dedicated to relaxing and a little bit of fun work. I have some ideas for some upcoming holidays I am excited to try out and see what I come up with.
