The new year is upon us friends! This fun and easy printable will help your kiddos make and keep a few resolutions throughout the year. I have to say, my favorite resolution of Elliott's is definitely the last one! He's gonna rock it. To create your own placemats, download the design here and you know the rest! Enjoy and happy new year!
We are big, big fans of Pair of Thieves. Their matching dad + kid socks are adorable and according to Elliott and Preston they are comfortable as all get out! So of course they would make the perfect stocking stuffers! I am in love with the latest release colors and patterns, they're just so dang cute. Plus, they are the perfect size for stuffing those stockings this Christmas! Mix them in with some candy and tiny toys and your little ones (and big ones) will be thrilled! Trust me. My boys are in for a real treat.
I mean, come on. Freaking adorable!

It's the final countdown! (now you'll have that song in your head all day. You're welcome.) This year for our advent I thought we would do something big and fun and easy. A printable poster! There is seriously nothing more magical than the anticipation of counting down the days till Christmas when you're a kiddo (or if you're like me, you lose sleep waiting for Christmas morning too!) This poster is a lot like this bullseye one a few years ago. Just download the design here, print it off at Staples as an engineer print and BAM! Instant advent calendar your kids will love coloring and counting down to the big day. Enjoy!!
If you know me, you know I grew up wearing Star Wars t-shirts and watches. I handed out Han Solo valentines (because he's the best!) at school and to say I was obsessed would be a severe understatement. Preston was equally obsessed, and collected tons of Lego Star Wars sets and Elliott is definitely following in our footsteps. SO! You can imagine how excited we are about the new Star Wars movie coming out! So much so, I decided to design some fun party bags for any of you fellow Star Wars lovers. Again, I am a total Star Wars nerd.
Let's make some, shall we?
Have your Star Wars obsessed kiddo color the ships. We left the Millennium Falcon white for contrast reasons. But I am thinking a pink Falcon would be pretty rad too!
Now, cut out the designs, peel the paper backing off and stick them onto your bags! You are now ready for an epic Star Wars party!

We're getting into the Halloween spirit around here! While Elliott is still trying to decide on what he wants to be for Halloween (typical) we've been busy making a few fun crafts to get festive with! This fun and super easy cat mask is the perfect thing for an afternoon of play or even for a last minute costume for a bit of trick or treating. You can see the details right here, you'll be amazed at how easy it is. But more importantly, it's fun and your kiddos will love it!
Right now we are on a super fun family vacation! While the vacation is a blast, the trip isn't always as fun. Whenever we go on a road trip I try to make sure Elliott has plenty to keep himself occupied. Sure we make sure the iPad is fully charged and with a few new apps to help out, but we kind of look to that as a last resort. Generally I stock up on notebooks, markers (washable!), stickers and the like to keep him creatively busy. Plus, who doesn't love new supplies? We have used Yoobi in the past and loved their supplies so much they were our go-to for this trip. Their notebooks, crayons, markers and adorable little bags are the perfect thing for a road trip and Elliott just loves having all new things to "work" with. I should also include that giving Elliott new fun supplies usually means we get a new story he's come up with complete with illustrations, it's the best!
After all of that hard work the adorable and insulated lunchbox was perfect for a snack on the go. I packed snacks that he loves and that I wouldn't have to worry too much about a mess in the backseat. It was perfect!
He loves peaches :)

We are some pretty avid movie goers. If it's date night, chances are we're at a movie. If there is a new kids movie out, we probably will be at the first showing the day it comes out. When I was a kid, I even skipped school to see the new Star Wars movies when they came out. All in all, we love movies and every time there is a new kids movie, I try and do something a little extra special for Elliott and usually his cousins too. Whether it be a printable coloring sheet, or a small toy from the movie, they have come to expect I will do something. For our next outing, I have my treat all ready to go! These movie themed stickers are super fun to decorate popcorn buckets, or stick them all over a tshirt to watch your movie in style. Either way, the kids will love playing with them during their next night at the movies.

Like it or now, back to school is upon us. Help your kids get stoked for the new school year and throw them a little party to celebrate! I designed a couple of printables and DIYs to help make the party extra special for your kiddos. You can check them all out right here or design your own! The stickers and the apple surprise balls were a huge hit with Elliott - of course, it's kind of hard to go wrong with a surprise ball! I think it would be a lot of fun to have the party all set up for a fun first day of school breakfast. A great way to end summer and an excuse to take lots of pictures of the kids to remember their first day and not get all the attitude. Ha! Happy partying!
Did you know you can make your own erasers? It's true! Elliott and I had an absolute blast making these one afternoon. And wouldn't you know it, they actually work! He's determined to take them to school once it starts, but I don't think I can let him. I love them too much! They are really easy to make - if you've ever used sculpey, these will be a cake walk. Check out the details over here and have fun!!
